god, you get distracted by something shiney and wander off and they go and change blogger all around on you and now i'm confused and can't find the door.... ok, so it's not that bad, but it's going to take some getting used to and i am just not at all sure about it.short things, cause i'm at work and should be catching up....
*the Minds are still great...great people, great show.great.
(and i scored a punk group flyer from a year ago thanks to mr. landeen for the party favors!)
* "the fog of war" was interesting. see it if you are in to that sort of thing.
*some day i'll get to sleep again and it will be lovely.
*someday i'll get the return/spaceing to work on this damned thing, and that, too, will be lovely.
*Dwight Yoakum's version of Cheap Trick's I want you to want me is wonderful. i don't care if he's a bit squeaky. i like it.
*drinking with a bunch of 19-yr-olds isn't all bad. ..if they're smart enough, that is.
*the 99cents forever store out in Milwaukee is my new best friend.
i think i am going to fill my garden with plastic dinosaurs.
*this wednesday the Kill Mes are playing at that bowling alley, again, if you are into that sort of thing, which i am.
* Tenderizer is playing our first show at Porky's on the 21st with Vegan Killing Machine. We're gonna be first i think, cause Matt's other band is playing somewhere that night, too, so we have to open. Of course, i don't believe we have any business playing on a Friday in the first place, but i'm generally terrified, so what do i know?
and, um, nothing of the drunken brilliance and such of the insights from the weekend, i sobered up and they are lost, and i'm sure everyone's crushed....
