ok, just saw "the brother from another planet" and like casablanca it was a first on so many levels...ok, so i might be lying i am not so well versed in alien movies, retro movies, or well, any movies for that matter...but he could do the healing glowing thing like e.t. he had weird feet like that other movie, he hung out with rastahs like that other movie....but really the best bit was when the alien bounty hunters showed up....the pre-cursors to the punk group and they were brilliant! bnrilliant. i'm not drunk, i just can't type.anyways, it was all brilliance, or maybe it would be if i were really drunk....also as my friend pointed out, it was awesome that the movie wasn't about black vs white or how humaity is all awful all the time or whatever it was about how everyone involved was united against the man. it gave me a nice cuddly revolutionary feeling. must go attempt sleep now. there's a free breakfast waiting on the other side of unconsciousness and so i figure i should try to get up on time...have i mentioned how much my dog looks like a 30 pound maggot? anyways. he does. but i suspect he will not try to digest me as i sleep.
